Community Hero Day: Erik Johnson

This award for us is about honoring and recognizing the people who serve and build their communities up. We couldn’t be more proud to have our first Culture Community Hero be Erik Johnson, a teacher at Skyline Elementary that has touched so many students lives.

We collaborated with Erik to create the “Blog Pass” IPA and used loquats and tangerines from his garden to create this awesome beer. Come to Solana Beach to find out how awesome this turned out.

Not only that, we will be donating 20% of sales to Eriks favorite org, Casas de Luz. Casas de Luz, through its many volunteers, builds homes in Tijuana, Mexico and sleeping cottages for the homeless in San Diego. Over the past 20 years this all volunteer organization has changed the lives of over 200 families by providing them a home for their family. Together we bring hope on both sides of the border.
